Our Passion and Mission
Our Passion
The Passionate Pursuit of God's Presence, Power, and Purpose
Dynamic, spirit-filled worship, powerful intercession, insightful, practical life changing preaching and teaching, and prophetic release characterize our gatherings. We hunger and thirst for intimacy with God. His Holy presence is our passion. We welcome the awesome power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The creativity of the Holy Spirit through artistic expressions is encouraged and cultivated. We are totally committed to being agents of God's purposes, and fervently pray that His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Our Mission
From Brokenness to Wholeness, Equipped for His Service
Jesus came to save the lost, heal the sick, set the captives free, and restore the broken lives of mankind. His heart of love, acceptance, and forgiveness pervades the atmosphere here at SonPointe Church. We are a sheltering tree that provides a place for the restoration of the individual, the family, and the Bride of Christ. A significant part of our mission is to see the broken made whole. God is the potter and we are the clay. When we yield to Him, our lives are restored.
Every member of Christ's body is called to serve. We are committed to discipling, training and mentoring people to be effective servants in the church and the world. Our desire is to see every member adequately equipped and actively serving Him.
Proclaiming The Most important message in the world, Through the most powerful media
The good news of Jesus Christ is the most important message in the entire world. In order to reach this and future generations for Christ, we must communicate this Gospel through contemporary forms of media and creative expression. God is a sight and sound God. He loves the dramatic and spectacular. We live in a sight and sound age, where the story of God's love and redemption can be told in new ways that reach the heart and soul, as well as the mind. Through television, DVD's, CDs, printed material, the Internet, and the arts, we seek to communicate the relevant and captivating message of God's redeeming love.
