Inspired words from the pen of a prophetic scribe.
These are the writings from Dr. Fife's Journal

Journal Entry two
On the night of December 30th, 2005, the Lord
kept speaking a single word to me in my sleep. The word, ‘CONFLUENCE’,
kept repeating over and over in my mind and spirit. I knew,
even while I was still sleeping, that the Lord was communicating
something vitally important to me.
The moment I awoke, I reached for a pen and scribbled the
single word on the pad next to my bed. I spent the last day
of the year pondering what the Father’s word meant.
I wasn’t sure if it was a word for me personally, for
others, the body of Christ at large, or all of the above.
Because I grew up in the city of Pittsburgh, I am familiar
with the word, confluence. We often describe our
city as being located at the confluence of two rivers;
the Allegheny and the Monongahela join to form the Ohio River
at the very heart of the city. But I had the distinct sense
that the word meant far more than how I had always used it.
My suspicion was confirmed. Webster defines the word this
way:
Confluence: 1. A coming or flowing together, meeting
or gathering at one point; 2. a. the flowing together of two
or more streams; b. the place of meeting of two streams, c.
the combined stream formed by conjunction.
Confluent: flowing or coming together, to run together,
assemble or congregate.
I believe the Lord is saying that we are entering a season
of joining forces. Things that have been divided or flowing
as separate entities will merge into a much more effective
stream of God’s purpose and power.
We must come to the place of yielding our personal agendas,
identities and ministries for the sake of God’s ultimate
kingdom-intention in the earth. This is the point in time
for the body of Christ to come together and break down divisive
walls wherever they exist. It is time to flow together as
one mighty river of God’s people. Jesus prayed, “Neither
pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe
on me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou,
Father, art in me, and I in them, that they also may be one
in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me,
and the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that
they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in
me that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world
may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou
hast loved me.” John 17: 20-23.
We need to look carefully at our personal lives. We need to
be singly focused in heart and mind. Let not the double-minded
man think he will receive anything from the Lord. It
is time to singularize our energies and spiritual activity
individually and corporately.
This is a season of coming together. God wants us to go deeper
so we can have a wider influence in the world. This can only
happen as our individual streams merge into one might river
of God. The place of confluence is here and now!
We are at the Confluence of God’s purpose for His church.
